August 18, 2025 (GUELPH, ON) The midway lights are set to sparkle in Guelph as the Guelph Humane Society (GHS) announces tickets are on sale now for its largest fundraising event of the year, the Happy Tails Gala: Moonlight Midway, proudly presented by title sponsor GoWylde Real Estate.

The whimsical, carnival-inspired celebration will take place Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Guelph Conference Centre. Guests can expect a vibrant midway-themed experience filled with vintage carnival charm including midway games, elegant carnival food and drink stations, captivating performers, heartwarming animal interactions, live and silent auctions, and a grand performance to close out the night.

This reimagined gala transforms our traditional annual banquet into a whimsical, roaming cocktail party immersive experience.

“This gala is a chance for our community to come together, have fun, and make a real difference for animals that have no one else to care for them,” said Lisa Veit, Executive Director, GHS. “Every ticket purchased helps us give animals in need the safety, care, and compassion they deserve.”

Tickets are $165 per person or $1,950 for a VIP “Paw-ty” of 10, which includes reserved seating. Early bird pricing is available for the Fetch the Fun All Access Game Pass, giving guests unlimited access to all the midway games.

Funds raised will provide lifesaving veterinary treatment, nutritious food, and safe shelter for homeless, injured, abused and abandoned animals. They will also support community programs that keep pets and people together, including no-cost emergency boarding for pets of families experiencing crisis and food for pets of families experiencing food insecurity.

“Every dollar raised brings us closer to creating a more compassionate community for animals,” Veit added. “Moonlight Midway isn’t just a night of celebration, it’s where lives are saved and new families are created.”

Tickets are available now at happytailsgala.ca
