Grab your cub and join the Guelph Humane Society for Pawrent and Cub Club! Where we invite pawrents to join their cub (ages 3-5) and have shared experiences here at GHS. Sign up for one session with your cub or all 5!
Join us on Tuesday nights this spring, for Pawrent and Cub Club. The club runs Tuesdays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm for 5 weeks.
Pawrent and Cub Club is a great way to bond with your cub while learning about GHS. This also gives your cub a fun and engaging environment to develop empathy for animals.
Each week, children and their pawrent will have the opportunity to explore different parts of the shelter do crafts, and participate in animal themed activities. This program invites pawrents to join in the learning, throughout this program we will learn about pet behaviour and how to interact safely with animals.
Please note: Paw-rents come in different shapes, sizes, and ages. We require that the attending Paw-rent is at least 18 years old or older and ask that the same pawrent attend each session with their cub.
Cost:
The cost of this program is $175 for all 5 weeks and $39 for individual sessions.
Schedule and Themes
Each session starts with a story and we build on what we have learned in the story through activities and animal interactions. Sessions are 1-hour long and run from 5:00pm-6:00pm on the following dates:
Refund policy:
Please be advised that once you have registered your child for Pawrent and Cub Club, there is a portion of your payment that is non-refundable. Any refund or exchange requested prior to two weeks before the program start date, at 10:00am will be subject to a 20% administration fee. After said time, refunds will be issued at the discretion of the Guelph Humane Society Incorporated. Please ensure your order is correct before submitting it.
