My partner and I adopted Winston in May of 2019, shortly after his 13th birthday. When we first saw Winnie he had a cone on his head and his back paw was bandaged up from a minor procedure he had, but that didn’t seem to bother him one bit.
We were lucky enough to adopt him and when we picked him up from GHS they let us know to give him time to get acquainted to his new space, and it took him all of three seconds to run across the house, jump on the couch and make himself at home. We knew he would fit in perfectly.
He has brought so much joy, love, and laughter into our lives and we’re so grateful to have him (and spoil him in his golden years).
