We had been looking for an additional cat to add to our household for awhile. Our 2 resident cats had a 10 year age gap and we wanted to give our young friend a new, feistier companion. We saw Cheese on the website and thought he’d be a great addition to our family.
We had a lot of difficulty introducing Cheese to our resident cats. He was very aggressive out of no where but obviously wanted to make friends. After a few months of work and assistance from our Veterinarian, Cheese decided he wanted to stay!
He is a very snuggly kitty. He likes to nap by his brothers and hide his toys in the bathroom. He comes when we call him and likes to make his presence known in the halls at night. He is weird and lanky and we love him to pieces.
After having such a horrible time adopting another cat from a different rescue (he needed immediate surgery and the rescue accused us of lying despite us showing them our invoice), working with the GHS was a breeze. They gave us all the information they could and were very understanding.
Cheese has completed our family and we have the GHS to thank.
