Juliet is the best pal that anyone could ask for – she snuggles in my lap and purrs while we watch movies or read books, she loves to use her scratching post, nibble on her catnip mouse or to chase her favourite feather toy, and she even “helps” me to do the laundry (mostly by sitting on the clothes I’m trying to fold so that she’s the center of attention). She is playful and affectionate and while, at nine months old, she’s already a lanky teenager, she definitely retains the enthusiasm and curiosity of a kitten. We’re still working on her tendency to get overly excited and give love bites (on occasion, she becomes a vampire kitty and wants to sink her teeth into hands as well as toys) but generally, she is extremely well-behaved and a very sweet girl who’s been adapting very well to a new home and a different routine. I can’t imagine sharing my home and my life with any other furry friend.

We are so lucky to have Esme! We initially planned to change her name but we found it suited her too well. She has been a very happy cat ever since the first day we brought her home. She is highly affectionate and often follows us from room to room. At night, she often sleeps on our pillows! She is also a very vocal cat and she loves to “talk” and be talked to. Esme is very playful! She especially loves a catnip-filled stuffed turtle we recently bought for her. We have not had any issues with her except the occasional nip when playing but she is learning quickly from a simple firm “no.” She started using her litter box immediately as well as the scratching tree we got her. You have made the adoption simple and successful for us and we are very grateful to have Esme!
