I adopted Eddie (formerly Heffner) and his story was as much a mystery as his name. As an emergency rescue, he was a timid, scared and defensive cat. Eddie has found his forever home with me and has rescued me as much as I have rescued him. He has redefined what companionship means to me and I will be forever grateful. His gentle soul and warm heart has brought so much joy to my home I can’t imagine it without him. As an older cat, it is a learning experience to piece together what brings him comfort. He loves mornings filled with play and afternoons are reserved for long naps in the sun. He is my shadow in the kitchen and loves snuggling in for movie nights. I hope his retirement is the best part of his life yet, as he is the best part of mine so far. Thank you to June & the GHS team for connecting us.
