This issue highlights the features our future home will bring to vulnerable animals in our community. Animals like Cara & Reese, sweet hound sisters who came to GHS needing specialized care and a safe place to raise Cara’s seven puppies. While the puppies were quickly adopted, Cara & Reese stayed in foster care for over 120 days before finding their new family together. Our future home will offer dedicated and improved spaces where animals like Cara & Reese can thrive while they wait for their “happy tail”.
We will have spaces like a new Dog Adoption Area, generously sponsored by one of our building donors and long-time supporters, Susan Frasson. Read about why she was so inspired to help build a better home for our community’s animals in this issue’s Donor Feature.
