It’s a new year starting fresh with a new Paw Press Winter Edition! On Jan 1, 2020, the new Provincial Animal Welfare Services Act (PAWS) came into effect transferring primary responsibility for animal cruelty, abuse and neglect investigtions from humane societies to the Ontario Government.
