He bops his tail when you say Twister, so no change there. First week under the bed. End of the week he was coming out more. By the second week he was on the bed at night with me and spends the morning beside me on the couch while I have my coffee. He occasionally gets excited watching birds on YouTube Cat TV but so far no toys interest him. We had a mishap 2 weeks ago where he dashed under my foot as I sat at my desk. A trust setback – squeals and more under the bed. Before that he was sitting at my feet to be near me. He uses the kitty litter box with no issues, does not really beg food although runs down the corridor in the morning after I get out of bed. I don’t understand the wanting the butter tart on my desk today at all. And now into week 4 he sits behind the loveseat near the door when I come home. He occasionally sits beside my husband on the sofa when I’m not around. But the rollator walker scares him and my husband has a very loud resonant voice which he finds scary too. Last Saturday he crawled onto my chest for 5 minutes after I woke up—wow, so close. I keep telling him he’s a brave boy. He is still skittish but blossoming. He does protect me from the noises in the corridor as the picture shows. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to give Twister a forever home.
