When we first brought Louie home he was recovering from an injury. He had begun to have lumps appear in his mouth and had very sore paws. We worked very closely with the GHS to finally diagnose his with eosinophilic granuloma, and he has been on medication since then. We also found out that he has weaker bones, and has had to have both of his femoral heads from his hind legs removed. But he is fully recovered from the surgeries and is a completely normal cat (as far as cats go). He just bunny hops up the stairs now. He loves our other cat and he would wrestle and play with him all day if we let him, but we still have to be careful to make sure he doesn’t break anything else. He also loves to sit outside, lay in the sun, and watch all the birds fly past.
We love Louie to pieces and are so grateful for how helpful and supportive the GHS was! On May 21st we celebrated his 3rd gotcha day.
