We adopted Layla about a month ago (early December 2021) and she has been an amazing addition to our home. She is the sweetest kitten and I don’t think she has a mean bone in her body. When we first got her she was very anxious when being picked up, but now whenever you scoop her up she is instantly purring. Her favourite things are toys that have bells and strings, sitting on mom and dad’s shoulders, laying on the floor vents when the heat is on, and her wet food. She falls asleep under the covers with us at night, cuddled right up against our sides. Our older cat is really not fond of her yet, but Layla is really trying to win her over and be her best friend. We are still slowly introducing them in small steps in hopes that they will be best friends soon.
