My family and I adopted Kory (now Koji) from the humane society just before Easter of this year. He was a 4 month old Husky/Retriever and possible Great Pyrenees cross. He is now over a year old, and become such an important member of our family, I sometimes wonder how I got through life without him. I love spending my time watching him and learning how he differs from other dogs. He’s got such a unique personality, it makes me smile. His two main expressions are either “all smiles” or “confusion.” He’s a sensitive boy, who doesn’t require food rewards. Love and praise are enough for him. From day one he has been the easiest dog to train, and I swear he understands English. He also never once harassed the cats, always keeping his distance while they adjusted to him. Now my male cat Momo is his best buddy and they wrestle all the time. My female cat Lily still isn’t his biggest fan, but we did catch her sleeping in his crate with him recently, so she’s warming up too. Every day we are so grateful that we found him with you guys, and that we were lucky enough to be the ones chosen to take him home. Thank you for allowing Koji to become a part of our family.
