Hello everyone. This is Hugo (formerly Catan), your friendly neighbourhood Tuxedo kitten reporting with an update for you. Things are going really well in my new home!
When the nice lady came to get me in Guelph on December 15, I chatted with her a bit in the car and purred as loud as I could to let her know I was cool. When we got to the new place, I took my time getting to know all the sights, sounds and smells and everyone was super-patient with me.
Now, it has been a month since I moved in, and I have to say I’m pretty sure I hit the jackpot! These new two-leggeds are fun – they have toys everywhere, their buffet is top-quality, the facilities are divine and the service is second-to-none. The mani/pedis are on point and the massages are sublime 😊. At night I snuggle into a giant bed with the nice lady to keep her warm. The big guy next to her doesn’t mind either.
Life is sweet… there is this one dude I’m still trying to figure out though. He’s a four-legged like me, but he’s huge. He sleeps more than I do, has great big teeth and answers to “Good Boy”. When he moves his tail he makes wind! He’s okay, but I’m careful ‘cause he’s more than 10x my size… He doesn’t want to play (I tried that) but he also doesn’t care if I jump on him, so I think we’ll be alright.
I’m learning some new words – something that sounds like ‘luvu’. I like that: It always comes with kisses and snuggles. I’m so happy to be here and I make sure the two-leggeds know it!
