My name is Dixie and I was adopted in September by my wonderful family and now live in Brantford. I am sorry that I haven’t written yet – I have been having so much fun there isn’t much time to write. My family wanted to send you some pictures and to say thanks for taking care of me while I was looking for a home. The first week was very tough because of my stitches so I couldn’t play much but I have made up for that ever since. I am having a blast living with my new family and big brother Merle. He is still a little faster than me when I chase him at the Dogford dog park but I am catching up. I luv to play with all my toys and chase bubbles. I also love to cuddle with my mom on the couch at night. I have a lot of doggie cousins (& a few cats as well) and am learning how to play nice. There are a few things I have to learn yet but my favorite trick right now is roll over – it always makes my family laugh (& I usually get a cookie too!). I am really excited for my first Christmas with my new family I have been on my best behaviour and I got to meet Santa to tell him what I wanted (toys, cookies & toys & more cookies!)
Thank-you so much for taking care of me & helping me find my fur-ever home!
Happy Holidays!
