When I was living in Guelph in 2019, I found this spicy girl at Petsmart. She adapts very well to new surroundings, as long as it’s on her terms. The moment I took her out of the carrier, she smacked me when I tried to pet her, then came to sit in my lap, lol.

Even though she doesn’t particularly like change, as long as I’m there she seems to do okay. After Covid hit, I made the difficult decision to move back to be with my family in Arizona. She trekked the whole car ride with me and was surprisingly adventurous, as seen in this photo of her in front of a QT gas station somewhere in the US.

We are both doing well in the desert! She loves to sunbathe, and sheds a lot as a result. She loves her trash toys (plastic forks, straws, twist ties), and FOOD. We have to have all food locked up so she doesn’t become a little thief! She’s got the feistiest tortitude I’ve ever seen, especially if you tell her “No”… and we wouldn’t have it any other way. <3
