Say hello to Sarah! She came to the shelter in July when her owner could no longer take care of her. She was pregnant and got to raise her babies in a loving foster home! They have already been adopted and now it’s Sarah’s turn! Chinchilla’s make great pets and are fun to interact with they do have certain care requirements that need to be met! Chinchillas have a certain temperature range that they are comfortable at, have continually growing teeth, and love dust baths! They also have lots of energy and require a large cage or lots of out of cage time!
