Roxy is a beautiful girl with an eagerness to learn! She will benefit most from a home where her owners are interested in keeping Roxy on her toes when it comes to mental stimulation – tricks and training. Roxy has not been so fond of children in her previous home and would prefer a home with no young children (must be 16y+). Roxy would thrive in a detached home with a backyard. She can be iffy with strangers and that’s why an apartment setting would not be ideal for her.

Roxy can get ear infections and is not thrilled about having her ears looked at. She would benefit from an owner who is willing to help desensitize her to touch. She can also be possessive of really valuable items and she seems to have learned that barking at people gets her what she wants, such as a fun walk! For these reasons, it is mandatory that Roxy be set up for training with a positive-reinforcement, touch-free trainer to set her and her new owners up for success! Roxy got along well with the dogs and cats in her previous home, so would likely do well with a canine or feline sibling!

Roxy is crate and house-trained, and is great in the car! She is a very affectionate girl with the people she trusts. She can get very excited easily and will need a knowledgeable, eager owner who can work with her on this to help her relax when she is getting too worked up. Roxy is waiting very patiently for her new owner to come along.
