Why hello there! I’m Chewy.
I’m a fun-loving guy that loves to play with my humans and my doggy friends. If you’re looking for a dog who’s playful yet chill, that’s totally me!
It’s true I’m super handsome and love neck and bum scratches…even a good snuggle on the couch when I get tired.
You should know that I’m working on my manners. I really don’t like it when people take my things and I don’t like anyone near my food dish. I’ll need to be set-up with a professional dog trainer that will continue to give me positive reinforcement – I want to be the best pup I can be! If you’re patient and willing to work with me, then we will become the best of friends.
I do love to play (especially with a dog friend, I am not courteous enough with the feline friends), but sometimes my hips hurt and just need a break. My GHS family has been giving me medication to help soothe my sore hips and overall help me feel better. It just means that my new family and I can take a break and snuggle together.
