Chewy is a 75 lbs goofball! This special boy loves a really good snuggle and lots of playtime with his doggie friends.
Chewy is a sensitive guy and gets uneasy meeting new people, his new family will need to be patient and allow him some space to adjust to his new friends. However, once he’s warmed-up he will want neck and bum scratches all the time!
Playtime is Chewy’s favourite time of the day! He would love to have a friendly dog pal to play with so he can burn off some energy. However, cats don’t seem to find him as fun. They don’t enjoy his boisterous energy very much. Don’t worry though, Chewy is cool with just having dog friends only, they obviously seem to play the way he likes anyways. After playtime, Chewy can get sore joints, specifically in his hips. His GHS friends have managed his sore joints with medication. He would play all day but would do best with taking frequent breaks…which really means more snuggle time for both of you!
Chewy likes to eat peacefully, so no bothering him when he has a delicious meal in front of him. This means he would do best in a home that is quieter and with adults only. He is also looking forward to learning new polite habits while working with a one-on-one positive dog trainer. Chewy loves to learn and can’t wait to be the best pup he can be with his new family!
