Hello, my name is Bolt!

The GHS family thinks I’m awesome because I am a happy and cuddly boy. I love to run and play, and get the “zoomies” a few times a day; once I’ve worn myself out, I find a nice sun spot to relax and naps.

My new family should know that I have a progressive FeLV infection, which means I need to be an indoor cat. Feline leukemia (FeLV) is contagious to other cats, and therefore, would recommend consulting with your veterinarian on risks of adding me to a feline-friendly home. Due to my compromised immune system, my new family should be prepared that I may start to show symptoms related to FeLV or take longer to recovery from ailments that wouldn’t be a “big deal” to other cats. I can still live a very happy life in a quiet environment and with regular veterinary care, so the GHS recommends speaking to your vet prior to adopting me.
