Spring 2022 has been full of cats and kittens! In February, we took in 18 Siamese cats from a hoarding situation – followed by 20+ cats in another hoarding-type of environment. Those cats we named the “gem” cats, and named them all after gemstones. Kitten season also began early this year, and by March we already had several litters of kittens in our care.
The bunny crisis continues in 2022, with more bunnies than ever coming into our care. GHS ran a very successful bunny promotion in February, and again in April. Between the two months we were able to find homes for 30 bunnies in our community!
