Bella (formerly Dolly), the almost Tortie, came to us just over four years ago when she was about one. She chose her mama on a visit to GHS. She loves to lick, and those licks on that first visit won her mom’s heart. Bella worked very hard to also win the heart of her new housemate, Lou Lou. That was a harder sell! After much hissing and growling, Lou decided to at least tolerate the newcomer. Since then, Lou Lou has even submitted to those same licks and actually occasionally does some licking back! They seem to have bonded—feisty young Bella, and the senior citizen, Lou Lou, from Venezuela.
