BoBo and Rookie (formerly Candy Corn and Lollipop) came to our house on Christmas Eve (2020). We were told they hadn’t had much human interaction and would frighten easily. Since then, we have worked each and every day to gain their trust. They didn’t talk or sing for the first week. But gradually they began to be ok with us in the same room. Once that happened, every day we would put our hand in the cage with millet. They began to trust us! Recently Rookie has began to “step up” on our fingers and now let’s us kiss his chest. BoBo still doesn’t want to step up if she can avoid it, but you can see that she is beginning to turn. They’ve done so incredibly well in just a months time. They get flight time out of the cage and LOVE to fly to, play and crawl around on GI Joe tanks whenever they can get to them!
