Hercules is a 4-year-old, black and white male kitty who had a rough past and is now eager to live like a “king” in his new home.
This resilient guy has settled into the domestic cat life well. He is full of affection and wakes his foster mom by licking her face. He also loves a good cuddle!
Hercules is a big softy, with lots of love to give, but does not have a love for being picked up. He is FIV positive and would prefer a stress-free home. FIV hasn’t slowed him down though he loves to explore, it is best to consult with a veterinarian to get more information on FIV+ cats. He also asks that his new family helps him with cleaning his ears, brushing his fur, and wiping his eye goopies.
Hercules enjoys his feline friends in foster and would do well with other kitties. He has met dogs before, they don’t seem to bother him. A calmer dog would be best for this handsome dude. Hercules is ok with children too – as long as they respect his boundaries.
This resilient boy is ready for a loving family to keep him safe indoors while he snuggles, watches birds through the window, plays with a treat ball, and/or enjoy a good scratch on a scratching post.
Our animals have waited long enough for a loving family and our team has researched safe ways to do non-contact adoption. Virtual and/or phone adoption meetings will happen by appointment only.
Check out more information on the new contactless adoption process by clicking the “Available Animals” button below. If you think Hercules, or another animal, would be a good match for your family/home, please email adoptions@guelphhumane.ca, or please call 519-824-3091.
