I took a few new pictures of Bramble (formerly Willie, who I adopted a little over a year ago) underneath our Christmas tree and thought I’d share. He’s doing awesome; I can’t believe how smart he is. As well as having perfect litterbox skills, he’s mastered “come”, “stand” (stand on his hind legs), “spin”, “go home” (go into his cage) and “high five” (he’ll actually give high fives for treats). For the majority of the day, he has free range and he goes into his cage at night. He’s got such a sassy little personality! He only wants to be petted on his terms, and will run away from you if he’s not feeling it. When he DOES want to be petted, he demands it and he has to hunker down and get comfy before you touch him. He’s an extremely particular little guy but I absolutely love him. Despite all the sass, he’s got the best temperament and is so happy, social and curious all the time. No idea how someone let him wind up at your shelter but I’m so thankful that our paths crossed!
