Hi friends! My name is Ed and I’m a friendly boy looking for a quiet mature home! I’m a big boy weighing in at 120 pounds…I could lose some weight but an active owner willing to take me out on lots of walks will be sure to help me with this! I have a bit of an independent streak and can be aloof with certain people, it may just take me awhile to warm up to strangers. However once I get to know you, I’m quite affectionate and cuddly! Due to my size I’ll need a good sized detached home, a fenced in backyard would be a plus! I’m crate trained and can be left alone during the day or crated, whichever my new people would prefer! I need a committed owner who is willing to work on my resource guarding and touch sensitivity, private training classses are a must! Due to my behaviours the shelter is requiring that I go to a home with no children less than 16 years of age to set me up for success. According to my previous owner I’m good with some dogs off-leash, but I may bark on them while on a leash. I haven’t lived with cats before, but my previous owner(s) and the shelter would prefer to see me to got a home with no felines.
