We adopted Chip, formerly named Willie, in early November. He was fearful and hid from us the first couple of weeks but with some patience (and treats) he has come so far already. He is extremely playful, especially when we bring out the “feather on a stick toy.” He could play with that for hours! Chip is also quite a talkative boy and loves a good conversation. Particularly in the morning while he’s waiting for his breakfast to be served. Lately, he has been cuddling with us on the couch at night while we watch TV. Some of his favourite pastimes include: waiting for his automatic feeder, watching squirrels while lounging on the living room windowsill, napping on the dining room chairs, scratching on his scratch posts, zoomies up and down the stairs, and getting some good cheek scratches. We can’t wait to celebrate his first Christmas and to enjoy his company for years to come!
